Store Manager

Superblend lives by three guiding principles: community; quality; cannabis.

We are a new kind of cannabis retail store in our first year Downtown Calgary at 817 – 1 Street SW. With our character stores and knowledgeable, friendly staff, we aim to tailor the customer experience through authenticity and respect. As we near the auspicious anniversary of Covid, we still continue to grow and are always looking for that specific individual to become a pivotal member of our Family here at the ‘blend.

Who could this person be? First and foremost, one with a story: ideally someone with a personal relationship to cannabis and / or strong ties to cannabis culture. We need a leader with proven retail management experience, a strong work ethic, and who will be an Ambassador for our brand as we both grow together.

The Brass Tacks:

Our Store Manager will lead by example and through their presence, will elevate the vibe of the store, and represent our Brand. They will be responsible for the training and development of any new additions to our Superblend Family, providing ongoing coaching and support to our other members. The kind of person that always has half an ear on the ground passively recruiting for those that are a perfect fit for our Company. They will provide oversight on inventory and maintain a dialogue with Senior Management regularly. We would like someone with experience with regulatory audits as this individual will assist with absolute compliance to AGLC requirements.

So…if you have demonstrated retail leadership experience (at least 1-2 years) and you’re a charismatic and reliable person, this could be the start of something beautiful. Experience working with similar brands/products would be great; however is not an absolute must, What is a must is that your SellSafe is current as is your Qualified Cannabis Worker certification.

With our character stores and knowledgeable, friendly staff, we aim to tailor the customer experience through authenticity and respect. As a newly opened store, we continue to develop our grass bar and are keeping an eye open for an individual to be that right fit with our growing Family. We’re looking for an individual who will become the manager of our first new store with the other being our flagship in the Grain Exchange Building in downtown Calgary.

Store Manager

We are a new kind of cannabis retail store opening up in Inglewood at Unit 1 – 1701 11 St SE. With our character stores and knowledgeable, friendly staff, we aim to tailor the customer experience through authenticity and respect. As we have been awaiting further information in this new Covid regulatory environment, we have tempered the launch of this location for the time being, but are always searching for that right individual to become the pivotal member we just need to add to our growing Family at the /blend. We’re looking for an individual with an art collective point of view, and community builder and storyteller, who will become the manager of our eclectic historic gem in Inglewood. We are awaiting licensing from the AGLC and thus the opening date for our store is months away. We are targeting an opening of mid June – July. Still plenty of time, but that’s great because we’re looking for that perfect fit!
